Typhoon Maring

The name Maring has been assigned by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) to two tropical cyclones in the Western Pacific since 2001, they are
- 2001's Typhoon Haiyan, a storm that was 90 knots at its peak but caused litte or no damage; and
- 2005's Super Typhoon Longwang, a storm that triggered mudslides killing 95 in eastern China.
Before 2001, Maring was assigned to a name list every four years.
