The Type 92 Battalion Gun is a Japanese Howitzer that was widely used in the Pacific during the Second World War by infantry battalions for high angle support fire. It could fire high explosive, armor piercing, and smoke rounds.Type 92 was deployed in infantry battalion by two each.Therefore, Type 92 was called as "Daitai Ho"(Battalion Artillery).
