Tyers, Victoria

Tyers is a small town in Victoria, Australia. It is 174 kilometres east of Melbourne and 10 kilometres north-west of Traralgon. It is located in Latrobe City, and has a population of 780. It was known until 1952 as "Boola Boola", after which it was named after the surveyor and explorer Charles Tyers.
