Two Mile House club was founded under the chairmanship of Fr O'Byrne in 1885 and had 70 members in its first year. RIC records from 1890 show that Two Mile House St Auxilius had 50 members with officers listed as Revd R Byrne, Thomas Nugent and William Dempsey.

Jimmy O'Connor won an All Ireland medal with Kildare in 1919.

The camogie club known as Geraldines competed in the 1950s and 1960, beating Caragh 5-0 to 4-2 to win the 1967 county championship. Clare Monahan who played for Leinster in the 1956 inter-provincial final, was selected on the Kildare GAA|Kildare]] camogie team of the century. Two Mile House camogie club revived briefly in 1991. Clare Monahan was selected on the Kildare camogie team of the century.
