"Two Guys Naked in a Hot Tub" is part two of the Meteor Shower story arc and episode 308 of Comedy Central's South Park. It originally aired on July 21, 1999.
[edit] Plot
After dropping Shelley off at Cartman's home, the Marshes and Stan are off to a party at the home of School Counselor Mr. Mackey. Stan is upset that he has to go and becomes even more angered when he is locked in a room with nerdy "Melvin" classmates that he does not like: Pip, Butters, and Dougie.
The four decide to make the best of it and the Melvins ask Stan to think of a game. Butters then discovers women's clothing and the three begin to play Charlie's Angels. Stan, unenthusiastic to participate, gives the trio missions to keep them occupied.
Upstairs, Mr. Mackey gives the Broflovskis and Marshes a tour of his home and leads them out to the hot tub, which was installed just recently. The wives leave Randy and Gerald outside and they declare the present evening to be a night of experimenting. The two talk about threesomes and soon enter the hot tub and engage in mutual masturbation. This leads to awkwardness after Randy questions his sexuality.
The ATF thinks that the party inside is a suicide cult that at the start of the meteor shower will kill themselves and the children inside. The ATF panics and attempts every possible solution to prevent what might happen. They resort to playing terrible music (which does not work, since the cops are playing what is supposed to sound an awful lot like Cher's "Believe", only to cut to Mr. Mackey playing the song on his own stereo system, to the delight of the partygoers) and kill anyone that leaves the house and does not obey orders (although they end up shooting people who do nothing wrong). Soon, Stan and the Melvins find their way upstairs and discover what is happening outside. They then make a tape and send it to the ATF outside. The ATF soon discovers they have made a terrible mistake and announce that this event had never occurred.
Inside, however, Randy is extremely uncomfortable being around Gerald when he finally shouts that he and Gerald engaged in group masturbation. Randy is relieved however when he is not the only person to have masturbated to a person of the same sex before. Outside, the boys rejoice their triumph of saving the day and Stan realises that the Melvins are just normal kids like him. All is forgotten, however, when Kyle returns from Jewbilee camp and Stan goes back to his old ways, telling Kyle that he had to "spend the evening with these Melvins".

- The song played at Mackey's party is a parody of Cher's 1999 song, "Believe", made using her signature autotune effect. According to the commentary for this episode, Cher's music was actually used as a form of psychological warfare in Waco.
- Although he had sporadically appeared in the background of earlier episodes, this is the first episode in which Butters was properly introduced and speaks his first lines.
- The ATF thinking that the party is a suicide cult is a parody of both the Heaven's Gate (cult), (note the tie in to meteors) and the Branch Davidian standoff Waco Siege.
- The reporter covering the ATF siege of the party is named Derek Smalls, a reference to the bass guitarist of Spinal Tap.
- One can see the painting The Scream from Edvard Munch in Mr. Mackey's room.
- One can see The Mole from South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut on the TV briefly in one scene, sitting on a couch from the Conan O'Brien show.
- This episode also highlighted more of Pip's talents, namely marksmanship and archery. It also revealed that he had in fact been schooled in England prior to coming to South Park.
