"Twist" is a Phish song written by Trey Anastasio and Tom Marshall, released on the 2000 album, Farmhouse.

"Twist" one of a plethora of new songs that made its debut during the 1997 European summer tour, making its debut on June 14, 1997.

The song (originally known as "Twist Around") was originally written and created during The Story of the Ghost sessions, but was left off the final cut of the 1998 album.

The song was rearranged on the Farmhouse cut, and a line or two of the lyrics was substituted. The ending conversations you hear at the end of the studio cut is between Jon Fishman and some friends chatting within the studio.
