Twinsburg Township, Summit County, Ohio

Twinsburg Township is one of the 16 original townships in Summit County, Ohio. It is on the northeast corner of Summit County. It continues to exist today as a township. Its original boundaries, however, contain the cities of Twinsburg and part of Macedonia. The village of Reminderville occupies the northeast part of the original township. As of the 2000 Census, the township had a total population of 2,273 [1]. The name of the township comes from the Wilcox brothers, who were twins.

Many township properties along Twinsburg Road and Old Mill Road have Hudson, Ohio, 44236 as their mailing address.

- Northfield Township, to the west
- Bedford Township, to the northwest
- Solon Township, to the north
- Bainbridge Township, to the northeast
- Aurora Township, to the east
- Streetsboro Township, to the southeast
- Hudson Township, to the south
- Boston Township, to the southwest
Twinsburg Township's current area is much smaller than it was originally. It is also discontinuous.

- Solon, bordering a small "island" of the township
- Reminderville, meets at Reminderville's southern limits
- Aurora, to the east, from southern Reminderville to northern Hudson
- Hudson, for the entire southern boundary of the township.

- Interstate 480 and State Route 14, cosigned, pass through Twinsburg Township with no exits.
- State Route 82 passes through the township, heading east towards Aurora.
- State Route 91, connecting Hudson and Twinsburg, passes through. A new facility for Twinsburg Towship will be located at Twinsburg Road and State Route 91.
- There are several parcels along Liberty Road under township jurisdiction and surrounded by land that is part of the City of Twinsburg.
