This article is about a small unincorporated community in the Rocky Mountains. For the unincorporated Census-Designated Place of the same name in the near northern suburbs of Denver, please see Twin Lakes, Adams County, Colorado.

Twin Lakes (in Lake County) is not an incorporated city or town and it is also not a Census-Designated Place as of the 2000 Census. It does, however, have its own United States Post Office, zip code 81251.

Twin Lakes (in Lake County) is located at 39°05′00″N, 106°22′00″W (39.08278, -106.38139), about 20 miles (32 kilometers) south of Leadville. [1]

The altitude of Twin Lakes is approximately 9200 ft (2780 m) above sea level, somewhat lower than Leadville.
