Televisión de Galicia (Television of Galicia), is a Galician TV channel, part of the Compañía de Radiotelevisión de Galicia (CRTVG).
TVG started broadcasting on July 25, 1985 with the short film Mamasunción by Chano Piñeiro. After a test period until September 29, the station began broadcasting regularly with 39 weekly hours of programs. The station now broadcasts a full 168 hours per week, with almost 70% of the production self-made. On December 31, 1996 its channel Galeusca started broadcasting in America through satellite and on May 17, 1997 started offering its complete service via the Internet.
Its headquarters are located in San Marcos, in Santiago de Compostela. All TVG programming is in Galician language except for some advertisements.
