TV total
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
TV total is a German late night television comedy talk show that has run since March 8, 1999, on Pro 7 and is currently aired from Monday to Thursday at varying times starting between 22:00 and 23:15 CET.
Created, produced and hosted by Stefan Raab, TV total particularly makes fun of some of the funniest moments or quotes seen and heard in other shows on German television, but it also features Raab in his outside reports as well as in talk with various national and international celebrity guests. Rather common with German talk show hosts, Raab is bilingual, speaking mainly German, but also fluent English so to interview his English-speaking guests, who are as diverse as the band Coldplay and martial-arts star Jackie Chan, who was promoting the movie New Police Story. The show has its own band, the heavytones, and most of the guest musicians and comedians regularly perform live on stage.
Since February 2001, the show has also featured Elton as Raab's intern and sidekick.
