TV Cultura

TV Cultura (Portuguese: Culture TV) is Brazil's television network hosted in São Paulo and a part of Fundação Padre Anchieta. It's directed to culture subjects but also has sports as entertainment options.

It was founded by "Fundação Padre Anchieta - Centro Paulista de Rádio e TV Educativas" (Priest Anchieta Foundation - São Paulo's Center of Radio and Educational TV) - by the government of São Paulo state in 1967, it's a private entity that has intelectual, political and administrative independence. The Foundation receives budget from private initiative, who maintains besides the TV Cultura - two radio broadcasting channels - "Cultura AM" and "Cultura FM".

Inspired by their foundationers, the three broadcasting vehicles offers to the public, general interest information and educational content - to promote educational and culturam improvement from the viewers.
