I've removed this section:

Tustin has been mentioned on the TV show Lost as the hometown of one of the main characters, the mysterious John Locke and the location of the box company at which he was employed.

I luuuurrrvvveee Lost, and it's neat to have one's hometown mentioned on teevee, but this is just silly. --Brion 23:16, Jun 3, 2005 (UTC)

  • Why not include it? It's far more interesting, and notable, than the % of the town area that is water? LukeSurl 23:21, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Relevance Questioned

I question the relevance of this:

The City's current Mayor, Doug Davert, is an attorney. He is opposed for re-election to the city council by Nathan Menard, a former city planning commissioner, who was "disgraced" when he asked for his son to use the bathroom at a local Kentucky Fried Chicken fast-food restaurant and showed his city planning commissioner business card. [1] The issue became an object of a negative campaign mailer by the California Taxpayer Protection Committee. Davert, on the other hand is with the law firm of Davert & Loe, who have reputedly employed Sandra Gentry, who had been sought for grand theft/embezzlement in nearby Irvine, California. [2]
