Turbo Vision
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Turbo Vision was a DOS-based character-mode GUI framework by Borland for C++ and Pascal. It was deprecated in favor of Object Windows Library for the then-increasingly important Win16 API. The C++ version, including source code, was later released by Borland into the public domain. It is currently being ported and developed by an open-source community.
The Free Pascal project currently maintains the Pascal version.
The Turbo Vision framework was included with Borland C++ and Turbo Pascal. It was used by Borland itself to write the IDEs for these languages; by default, Turbo Vision applications replicate the look and feel of these IDEs.
