  • Description: Turbine brake resistor (PWM dynamic braking system)

Dynamic braking resistor for wind turbine.

This lightvector painting depicts a 2kW resistor that was manufactured by IPC resistors.

It is mounted on size 6, schedule 40 structural aluminum pipes. These structural members are attached to the building's structural members by way of Alvin structural pipe fittings.

A cyborglog of the installation of this resistor may be found in wearcam.org/urbine/urbine_construction_glog/.
