Tumbleweed Tiny House Company
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tumbleweed Tiny House Company is a Sebastopol, California architecture and construction business owned by Jay Shafer, who designs and builds very small houses between 50 and 750 square feet in area.
Shafer builds his smaller designs himself and ships them by truck to consumers. Many of these smaller designs are mobile homes with built-in wheels. For his larger designs, Shafer sells floor plans for on-site construction.
Shafer named his company after the first tiny house he built for himself in 1997.
