Tullylish
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tullylish (In Irish: Tulach Lis means 'hill of the fort') is a small village in County Down, Northern Ireland, one and a half miles east of Gilford. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 105 people. It lies within the Banbridge District Council area.
There were many mills in the Tullylish area, all along the River Bann. The village is very small, with just a few houses and the parish church across the bridge. Some of its buildings are now art/craft shops and one is a restaurant called 'The Potbelly'.
