Talk:Tully's Coffee

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article reads like one big advert for Tully's... very un-encyclopedic words and phrases in here. For example:

"Instead of focusing on time and speed, Tully's focuses on the quality of every cup. Because of this, a single drink may vary by a fraction depending on the barista who prepared it."

"From the beginning of employee training, Tully's employees are trained to always put guests first."

[edit] Wifi not free

Deleted paragraph an anon user added which asserted wifi is free at Tullys. Could not find any corroboration, in fact the Tullys web site says it's for pay through Cometa [1]. Brianhe 03:38, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

EDIT: um i work for tully's, the wifi actually is free. has been for awhile... unfortunately, tully's website seems completely out of date, because we've been using the company "net near you" for awhile, and as of september, it's been free. you may want to try actually going into a tully's and trying the free wifi instead of reading an outdated webpage.

[edit] Shot in the dark?

"Drinks such as a "Cuban Shot", "Shot in the Dark" or "Long Pull" cannot be made at many other coffee shops because they do not hand-pull their shots."

Can't say anything about a Cuban or Long Pull, but a Shot in the Dark is, at least here in Seattle, a cup of drip coffee with an espresso shot. While one might certainly prefer a hand-pulled shot, it isn't required. However, the entire section reads like a big ad and should probably be deleted or heavily neutered. 208.54.14.97

[edit] Sounds like an ad

I like Tully's a lot more than Starbucks, but this entry needs a bit of slicing and dicing and most of it is already in the entry for espresso. Hmoul 03:17, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
