[edit] City Church, Belfast
You've asked at WP:DRV for a content review of the City Church, Belfast. I'm not an admin, so I can't provide the content. Hopefully one of the regulars will be along soon to handle it. But your request did pose the question "How can an influential church with 200-300 regular members and which has a significant role in Belfast Holyland community development be non notable." The discussion prior to deletion was held at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/City Church, Belfast.
Any new version of the article should explain how the church is of encyclopedic significance and/or notable. It is best if the new version is sourced to independent reliable sources, especially for the claims of significance and notability. The relevant notability standard appears to be WP:ORG. (Someday we'll probably have a specific one for houses of worship.)
The last "church" article at AFD that I remembered seeing closed as a keep was for Pillar of Fire Church, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pillar of Fire Church. That organization is closer to being a denomination than a local house of worship. I've seen megachurch (regular attendence in the multi-thousand area) articles be deleted at AFD. Multiple articles on churches of this scale and apparent (from the last version) importance get deleted via Prod or AfD on a daily basis. GRBerry 21:08, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
Good evening. I am attempting to work your Content Review request. The article was essentially unchanged between your edits to the article on 14 Sep 2006 and its deletion on 16 Sep. I notice that you did not choose to participate in the AFD discussion which was going on at the time. Since you were already familiar with the contents and since this does not seem to be an appropriate transwiki candidate, I am going to close your request to move the contents into your user-space as declined.
If your intent was to have the deletion decision itself reviewed, please make that nomination on the DRV page in the section below. Thanks. Rossami (talk) 22:22, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
