Tsuyoshi Sekito

Tsuyoshi Sekito (関戸 剛, born April 3, 1963 in Osaka, Japan) is a Japanese video game music composer, arranger and performer. He joined Square Enix in 1995. Before working at Square Enix, he worked for Konami and worked on several games created by Hideo Kojima. After joining Square Enix, he did not score any games until 1998. Brave Fencer Musashi was his first assignment for Square Enix. In 2001, his first assignment for the Final Fantasy series was to rescore Final Fantasy II for the Wonderswan Color. He later rescored the Final Fantasy II soundtrack for the PlayStation as Final Fantasy Origins. His wonderful guitar playing allowed him to become guitarist and arranger in the band The Black Mages, formed in 2003. He is also a member of another band called The Star Onions and also plays the guitar in that band. He is also studying violin. He became more and more versatile as a musician since he joined Square Enix.
