Tsing Yi Public School

Tsing Yi Public School (青衣公立學校) is the first primary school on the Tsing Yi Island in the New Territories of Hong Kong. The school was founded in 1938 when the Island was largely fish villages. Upon the island's development, the school was moved to a standard school building in Cheung Hong Estate in 1984. The school was delicated to pilot testing in education. With the declining of schooling age population, the Hong Kong Government decided to close the school in a few years.
