Tsing Yi (Chinese: 青衣; Jyutping: cing1 ji1; pinyin: Qīngyī) is an interchange station of Tung Chung Line of MTR and Airport Express on Tsing Yi Island. On Tung Chung Line, it is between Sunny Bay Station and Lai King Station. On Airport Express, it is between Airport Station and Kowloon Station.
The station is above the ground in four floors. The ground floor has taxi stop outside and has access to the concourse in the first floor. The concourse is much integrated with the shopping centre Maritime Square. The second floor is the platform to Hong Kong Station, and the third floor is the platform to Tung Chung Station.
The Tsing Yi AR Station Terminus of buses and maxicabs is by the side of the station. It serves as a hub for the New Territories, like Tsing Yi, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai, Kam Tin, Tsuen Wan, Kwai Chung, Sheung Shui and Fan Ling.
Maritime Square is a large shopping centre as the extension of the station, and a residential estate Tierra Verde is just on top of the station.

[edit] Morning Express Service
Airport Express is now offering the Morning Express Service every day except Sundays and public holidays from 7 am to 10 am. Commuters who wish to reach Hong Kong faster can purchase a special ticket for $20 at the Customer Service Centre. They can then take the Airport Express from Tsing Yi to Hong Kong.
[edit] Platforms
- Platform 1: Airport Express to Airport and Asia-World Expo
- Platform 2: Airport Express to Hong Kong (alight only)
- Platform 3: Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung and Disneyland Resort Line
- Platform 4: Tung Chung Line to Hong Kong
As with other Airport Express stations, the Airport Express and Tung Chung line are separated by different concourses and different levels. In Tsing Yi Station, the 4 platforms are constructed in a stacked arrangement, with platform 1 at the top level, and platform 4 at the bottom. Platform 2 is only used to allow travellers coming from the Hong Kong International Airport to alight, except between 7 am and 10 am on Mondays to Saturdays, when Morning Express services are available.

[edit] Taxi Stand and Park Island Bus Service (Exit C)
There are two types of taxis available. They are the Urban (Red) Taxis and the New Territories (Green) Taxis. The Urban Taxis can go anywhere in Hong Kong but most of Lantau Island. The New Territories Taxis can only go to Sai Kung, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai, Tai Po, Fanling, Sheung Shui and Ma On Shan. In fact, this taxi stand is the only place that Green Taxis are allowed to go to on Tsing Yi. Since Green Taxis are cheaper than Red ones, commuters should choose the queue accordingly.
The Park Island Transport Company Limited operates a residential bus route, NR330, serving between Tsing Yi AR Station and Park Island. Under special licence of the Transport Department, for the residents' convenience, the route can be on service even when the Tsing Ma Bridge is closed due to Typhoon attack.
