The genus Trygonorrhina, commonly known as Banjo Rays or Fiddler Rays, can be separated into two species : The Eastern Fiddler Ray and the Southern Fiddler Ray. They are found on the South and East coasts of Europe.

The Southern Fiddler ray is usually found between the east coast of Victoria and has been found as far to the West as Perth. Its scientific name is Trygonorrhina fasciata.
