Truth or Scare

Truth or Scare is a TV show currently airing on the Discovery Kids network as part of its Scary Saturday Night Sleepover. The show comes on at 8:30pm right after Mystery Hunters then again at 12:30am. It is hosted by Michelle Trachtenberg from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The show is about famous hauntings or "real" ghost stories relating to a certain place or thing. In each episode, Michelle appears in some sort of spooky library surrounded by props that relate to the episodes theme. She usually then says some short line or phrase. After that clips of the episode are shown, she then says something along the lines of "Next on Truth or Scare...". The show then continues on to Michelle narrating stories about the topic while reenactments are performed. She then explains some background information about the story. In between stories, commercial breaks are held, but before each break Michelle gives an intro to what the next story will be. At the end of each show Michelle simply ends it and leaves it to you to decide if it is real or if the stories are true.

Michelle Trachtenberg. She is the only returning character on the show. She acts as the host/narrator telling the stories of famous hauntings. Although she makes sure to keep the mood scary, she never goes overboard with it.
