Trusted Network Connect

Trusted Network Connect or TNC is an open-architecture, by the Trusted Network Connect Sub Group (TNC-SG) of the Trusted Computing Group (TCG). It aims at enabling network operators to provide endpoint integrity at every network connection, thus enabling interoperability among multi-vendor network endpoints. The U.S. army has planned to use this technology to enhance the security of its computer networks .[1]
