Trunk (motorcycle)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A motorcycle trunk is a storage compartment in the vicinity of the seat, other than panniers. A trunk mounted above and to the rear of the seat is also called a top box. A top box can have electric lighting systems built in for safety, and/or a backrest for a passenger. Sometimes trunk is used to refer to the storage space built into the motorcycle, under the seat.
A trunk can be built in on some models such as the Honda Goldwing, but it is usually added by the owner after purchase.
