Truly, Madly, Deeply Vale . A 2004 49 minute television documentary telling the story of the legendary 1970's pop festivals held at Deeply Vale, a valley between Rochdale,Heywood,Bury and Edenfield. The programme was put together by ITV's David Nolan, researcher Tom Smetham and one of the original organisers Chris Hewitt.It achieved one of the highest viewing figures for an ITV regional documentary. Chris Hewitt is reputedly working on an extended three hour version of the film for dvd.
