Troy and Boston Railroad

The Troy and Boston Railroad was chartered November 22, 1849, completed Troy, New York to the Vermont state line (35 miles) 1852. It was consolidated into the Fitchburg Railroad Company in 1887, which was in turn acquired by Boston and Maine Corporation by lease in 1900.
