Trouble Funk was an influential and successful R&B band from Washington DC. They helped to popularise the Washington, D.C. funk subgenre go go. Among their well-known songs is the go go anthem "Take it to the Bridge". They released three studio albums, Drop the Bomb, In Times of Trouble, and Trouble Over Here, Trouble Over There, and a live album, Saturday Night. They toured extensively with hardcore punk bands, including Black Flag, Minor Threat and the Big Boys.
