Troitsk (Russian: Тро́ицк) is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located on the Desna River some 37 km southwest of Moscow on Kaluzhskoe highway. Population: 34,100 (2005 est.); 32,653 (2002 Census).

Troitsk was first mentioned in 1646 as a settlement of Troitskoye (Тро́ицкое). It was renamed Troitsk and granted town status in 1977. It is home to a number of research institutes.
