Its at B-Class, more anything is needed. Storm05 12:48, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

"On the 27th, a low pressure area while the system was located a few hundred miles to the east of the Yucatán Peninsula."

This is not a complete sentence.

Thanks for the catch. I got it. Hurricanehink (talk) 18:12, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] GA review

What other two tropical storms did Larry hit with? That's really the only open question at the moment. Thanks! —Rob (talk) 16:35, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

Nora and Olaf. I added that to the intro. Hurricanehink (talk) 18:51, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Olaf in particular made the rainfall files/graphic fairly challenging to create for Larry. The associated images will be created either tomorrow or Monday. The spreadsheet is already created, and a few places reported over 20" of rain. I'm guessing it would be reasonable to replace the satellite derived rainfall with the real thing when it comes out, or should we have both? Thegreatdr 21:08, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Great news! I guess we should replace the satellite derived rainfall; it's only estimated based on satellite after all. Hurricanehink (talk) 22:00, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

I think this can easily be an FA soon, despite its length. Is there anything more that can be done? íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 23:15, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

Find more impact, I guess. Hurricanehink (talk) 00:01, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
I don't think that's gonna happen with a tropical storm that only caused 50 million USD in damage and 5 fatalities. But I think it can still be made an FA without more impact. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 00:10, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Just writing this down to remember to do it later; metrification and some inflation. I'll do it later, gotta finish homework and put my stuff in my new trapper keeper. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 00:16, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Just posting these in case anyone wants to add them.

  • Mexico Meteorology Service Larry Report- damage to highways, and caused disruption to power and television services.
  • Disaster Declaration for 52 cities, overflown rivers, 9,000 houses damaged, 75,000 total people affected by the storm, landslides, flooded crops, failure in the water systems, some more probably. The site is in spanish, so I might have missed/mis-interpreted something.
