Typhoon Yunya near the Philippines

June 15, 1991 - Typhoon Yunya (pictured) hit Luzon in the Philippines, the same day as Mount Pinatubo made its largest eruption. The rainfall from the typhoon mixed with the volcanic ash causing severe lahars.
