I am new to this site and all of it's wonderful information. I actually found something to edit within a very short time, but that is because all I do is live, breath and sleep Siamese : ) They said that a kitten was ready to leave his/her home at 7 weeks which is not true by any standards of any breeding books that I have ever read, nor what reputable, good, not kitten mills or backyard breeders, have to say about the proper socialization of kittens and when it is a good time to let the kittens go to their new home. If someone pretending to be a reputable breeder offers up a kitten at 7 weeks old it is no good for the health and emotional well being of the kitten and I would not pay a penny for the kitten as it will just promote the person to keep up this unethical practice.
