Tris-Buffered Saline (abbreviated TBS) is a buffer used in some biochemical techniques.

TBS (1L)

20ml   0.5M Tris-HCl, Ph 8.0
8.8g   NaCl

Dissolve the components in 800ml deionized water. Adjust to pH 8.0 with HCl and bring the final volume to 1 liter.
