Tripoint

A tripoint is a point at which three lines or surfaces conjoin.
- The term is applied to the triple point of a chemical substance, at which the solid, liquid and gaseous states can coexist in thermodynamic equilibrium.
- A tripoint is a geographical point at which the borders of three countries or subnational entities meet. An example of this is the Mindanao tripoint where Philippine regions: Northern Mindanao Region, Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN, meet.
