Trip The Light Fantastic is the forthcoming third solo album by British popstar Sophie Ellis Bextor. Its details are yet to be confirmed, though it is expected for release in early 2007. The reported first single will be "Catch You" and the second is "Me and My Imagination.
Little is known about the album, but it is known that:
- There are no duets on the album
- She is not posing on the cover of the album (the album artwork has been made)
- Her son Sonny will not appear on the album
- She has co-written with Shelly Poole, Dan of The Feeling and Cathy Dennis among others
- She wrote over 70 songs for the album
- She will be doing a live tour with the album next year
- She has worked with "a French guy called Dimitri" rumoured to be Dimitri From Paris. She has also worked with Fred Schneider and Richard Barone
- She worked with Kerin Smith of theaudience

Sophie will be touring along the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia & Asia, all the 2007 to support the album and promote the singles all around the world.
The first single of the album, Catch You, has been shot the videoclip in the italian city of Venice, by Sophie Muller.

- "Don't You Want To Get Crazy?" and "Turn It Up" were mentioned in an interview with Fred Schneider
- "Colour Me In" leaked a while ago
- "Me & My Imagination" is the confirmed second single
- "If I Cant Dance", "The Distance Between Us", "What Have We Started?" and "Only One" have been mentioned by Sophie on her official site
- "New York City Lights" Native Management announced this title
- "Mr. Friday" is co-written with Shelly Poole
- "Dear Jimmy" has recently appeared on the album Popjustice: 100% Solid Pop Music.
- A "poppy" cover of Kraftwerk's "The Model" is a confirmed cover according to 'The Sun'
