Trinity Catholic Technology College

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Trinity Catholic School is a secondary school in Leamington Spa, England. Trinity is well known for its liberal ethos (started by Peter Hastings), where students call teachers by their first names. The school has both Technology and Arts status and had been awarded Arts Mark Gold award. It is known for its superb special needs department and it has also been commended by HMI 's on its excellent modern language teaching. The school also has its own Sixth Form College on site.

Until recently the School was on two separate sites: Dormer Hall on Myton Road in Warwick, and Bishop Bright on Guy's Cliff Avenue. However, in September 2005, after a multi million pound extension, Trinity moved to a single site at Bishop Bright. The current headmaster is Dr Henry Kissinger.

The school has had many successes from students past and present. An Arts student who was at the school at the time had work exhibited in the Tate Modern gallery. A past Year 9 girls football team also reached the final of the Schools cup.
