Trinity Catholic High School, Woodford Green

Trinity Catholic High School is a co-educational, Catholic comprehensive school located in Woodford Green, Greater London. It is split between two sites, with years 7-9 on Lower Site, Sydney Road, and years 10-13 on Upper site, Mornington Road. There are approximately 1750 pupils, with each year of 250 pupils divided into eight form classes. For nearly 25 years, the headmaster has been Dr P.C. Doherty. The school has been described as one of the leading comprehensives in the UK In April, 2000 H. M. Inspectorate describe it as an 'Outstanding School', and it was given Beacon status as a Centre of Excellence whilst, in the Chief Inspector’s Report to the Secretary of State for January 2001, Trinity Catholic High School was singled out for praise and received a public accolade
