Trimmu

Trimmu or head trimmu is a flood control mechanism which was constructed to protect the city of Jhang from floods in early 1940's. The arched gridiron's bridge section is integrated with several protective bands.
It is situated some 25 km away from the city of Jhang westwars, at the famous town of Atharan Hazari where there is the confluence of rivers Chenab and Jehlum. Here rivere Jehlum drops into the river Chenab and this place presents a marvellous scene.
