Trick Pony is a trio of country music performers, consisting of guitarist/singer Keith Burns, bassist/singer Ira Dean, and singer/guitarist/harmonica player Heidi Newfield. Their singles include "Pour Me", "On a Night Like This" and "Just What I Need", all from their first album Trick Pony (2001). Their second album On a Mission (2002) features a single of the same name. Their third album R.I.D.E (standing for Rebellious Individuals Delivering Entertainment) was released in 2005 on Dean's birthday, August 23 which included a version of the 1978 Bonnie Tyler pop and country hit "It's A Heartache"

In October 2006,it was announced that Heidi Newfield was leaving the group to pursue a solo career. Heidi's last performance with the group was on December 13,2006. Aubrey Collins, a singer-songwriter from Littleton, Colorado has been announced as the new lead vocalist of Trick Pony.
