Tribute is a Broadway play by Bernard Slade, author of Same Time, Next Year.

The plot focuses on a dying man, a popular actor, who attempts to reconnect with his estranged son.

After four previews, it opened on June 1, 1978 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre where, despite the presence of Jack Lemmon in the lead role, it ran for only 212 performances. Lemmon was nominated for both a Tony and a Drama Desk Award for his performance.

In 1980, Slade adapted his play for a feature film directed by Bob Clark in which Lemmon recreated the lead role. The supporting cast included Robby Benson, Lee Remick, Colleen Dewhurst, John Marley, and Kim Cattrall. Lemmon was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor.
