TriangleOS

TriangleOS is an operating system made by Wim Cools meant for both desktop and server use. The OS uses a new approach to storing and retrieving data, and implements increased system security. It is built to be small and fast - fitting on a single floppy disk.

This is a summary of the projects goals:

Consistent User-Friendly interface that allows the user to easily perform both simple and complex tasks.
Ability to easily perform automated tasks that the user specifies.
Small size allowing it to operate on a wide range of devices.
Heightened security through limiting applications's rights and privileges and implementing a Security Log.
The OS should be suitable for both Server and Desktop tasks (with the same ease of use).
Centralise all data for quick access and ability to more easily search for information, rather than having to remember where information is stored.
Mobility - the OS should integrate easily with mobile devices.
