The Triad is a group of 3 upper-level demons on the television series Charmed. They were at a high rank in the evil hierarchy.
The Triad first appeared in season 3, and was played by Amir Aboulela, Rick Overton & Shaun Toub. At the time, they worked for the source of all evil. The Triad members were males, and had black eyes. They wore a long dark red-like robe, with an upside down pentacle behind it. Each of them possessed many powers (including: fireballs, teleportation, summoning demons, manifesting objects, etc.) When they became aware of the existence of the Charmed Ones, they began sending demons after them. When all of the sent demons failed, they ordered Belthazor (Cole Turner`s demon half, at the time) to go after the Charmed Ones, Belthazor came very close, but fell in love with Phoebe (one of the charmed ones), which lead to him killing the Triad.
The Triad reappeared in season 8, composed of 3 upper-level demons: Asmodeus, Baliel & Candor. This time, they wore a black robe, with an upside down pentagram in front of it. They are responsible for Christy's kidnapping, they hired demons to guard her and raise her for all these years, which is why Christy Jenkins is evil. Those demons later got vanquished by Christy and by The Triad.
A demon named Xar (a former member of The Triad) orders a demon to tell the Charmed Ones that The Triad was back, thus exposing them. Xar tricks the Halliwell sisters into going after The Triad, because he doesn't want them to take over the underworld. The Triad gets aware of this, and kills Xar. The Charmed ones goes after them, and vanquishes 2 members (Asmodeus & Baliel), thus completely weakening the Triad, since there is only one member alive, Candor (who luckily escaped, without getting vanquished). Candor later appeared, when he froze the Charmed Ones & Billie, but not Christy, as he told her that they taught her everything she knows, and now that The Triad is weakened, she must go forward alone, to reunite with the ultimate power (which is her sister Billie). Candor then leaves, and unfreezes the others.
Later on, Candor gets killed by Christy, for being responsible for the death of Christy's parents.
It is later discovered that The Triad cannot be destroyed as easily as previously thought. Their physical bodies can be vanquished but they continue to exist in spirit form until they are strong enough to constitute new bodies for themselves. Therefore, The Triad still existed, but as spirits, they continued to progress their plan (to kill the Charmed Ones), with Dumain, who served them. Their spirits later got vanquished by The Charmed Ones (using the power of The Hollow).
However, Dumain (with Christy) went back in the past, to warn the Triad of their death, but as he was warning them, The Charmed Ones and Billie arrived from the future as well, and vanquished the Triad, once and for all. They proceeded to vanquish Dumain and Billie vanquished her sister Christy.

- Their physical bodies can be vanquished but they continue to exist as spirits until they are strong enough to constitute bodies for themselves, this means that the Triad (from season 8) is the same Triad that appeared in Season 3. After Cole vanquished them, they continued to exist as spirits until they composed new bodies for themselves, therefore resulting in their return in Season 8.
- They kidnapped Christy Jenkins before the Charmed Ones were constituted and before they hired Cole Turner (Belthazor) to go after the Charmed Ones.
- Leland Crooke who plays a Triad member earlier on played Archduke Sebassis on the TV series Angel, who was also part of a demonic council of enormous power called the Circle of the Black Thorn.
