[edit] Regional accreditation
Can someone explain the line in the article regarding regional accreditation and the link to Chea? Why is that important? The school is listed in the CHEA database [1]. -- JJay 02:08, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- Regional accreditation is considered "better" per se than other organizations because it has more comprehensive standards (see CHEA page). The links proves 1) it has accreditation and 2) who accredits it. That is, it is accredited by a religious accreditor as opposed to other religious schools which have religious and regional accreditation. Simply, it proves it is an accredited school; backing up a claim made in the article. Arbusto 01:46, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- If it is "better" as you say then that should be stated clearly- with a reference that supports the claim. The link right now does not link to the CHEA accreditation page, it links to the first page of the CHEA website. That should be corrected at once to show that this school is in the database. Furthermore, if we want to imply that this school lacks an additional accreditation, we need a source to make the claim. We can not include information based simply on an editor's opinion that regional accreditation is required. -- JJay 02:15, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

- Feel free to expand it. I merely sourced a claim. Arbusto 00:45, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
