A landslide victory for The JPS (aka RFA thanks)

Hey, Tree Biting Conspiracy/Archive 3, thank you so much for your vote and comments in my RfA, which passed with an overwhelming consensus of 95/2/2. I was very surprised and flattered that the community has entrusted me with these lovely new toys. I ripped open the box and started playing with them as soon as I got them, and I've already had the pleasure of deleting random nonsense/attacks/copyvios tonight. If I ever do anything wrong, or can help in some way, please feel free to drop me a line on my talk page, and I will do my best to correct my mistake, or whatever... This issue will contain information regarding decisions made on the first meeting, our new council, and more...! New Council Following our first elections, a new council has been elected.Computerjoe and Ian13 remain as chairman and chief executive (respectively); while Eddieh, Wiki alf and Xchrisblackx are replaced as councillors by Ilyanep, Osbus and Covington. The Giant Puffin and Pureblade remain as councillors. Member Conduct In the last meeting, the conduct of 4 members was discussed. Ethnopunk will be put on probation, supervised by Ian13, if he/she is incivil during this probation, he/she will be expelled from WP:CJ; the same was decided for Misza13 (voluntarily), and his probation will be supervised by Computerjoe. No action will be taken against Computerjoe. Barnstar The Civility Barnstar which our members have designed has been sent to Barnstar and award proposals. We'd appreciate your feedback! Also, we are planning to make a Community Justice barnstar to give to hard-working CJ members. If you're a budding designer, consider trying to make it, then post your proposal to WT:CJ! Mario template

Hi. Okay then. I was just thinking that the template might benefit from some slight paring down and re-organization. For example, placing the major characters first, instead of putting the first group alphabetically. And maybe moving the non-canon comics and cartoon characters in their own category. I am confused

Hello TBC,

You posted a welcome sign when I registered with the WP and once answered one of my newbie questions. Now I have another one and hope you can explain things for me. Take your time. This is a low priority request.

About an hour ago, I returned to an article I had worked on quite a bit in March and find that although most of the content of the article is still there, the discussion page is now empty and the history page seems to be missing nearly a years worth of contributions. I made at least a dozen edits, as looking at the contributions list on my user page will show. Certainly there were other edits during the course of those months. The history gap represents the dates form July, 2005 till the end of March, 2006. The article is about the ancient Greek poet Anacreon.

This has me scratching my head! I checked my contributions list just to make sure I wasn't a bit crazy and found that if I link to the Anacreon talk page from my own list, it still exists. But it doesn't exist if I access it from the article page.

RFMS pictures

Please see the bottom of my talk page - two RFMS pictures have been tagged as copyvios. Image:WHSFront.jpg is listed as a promo picture, but I'm not sure if that will work for the RFMS pictures - in fact, I think WHS might go up as a copyvio sometime soon. I already thought of that. However, WP:ICT lists {{PD-USGov-DOE}} as being a subcategory of "USA Federal government images." The two teachers work for the local government, not the federal government. Can it still be used? --M@thwiz2020 00:07, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Guys, they most definitely should not be labled with that tag. Local school districts are not part of the U.S. federal government. The law that allows works of the federal government to be in the public domain does not apply to state, county, and local governments in any respect. --Durin 01:28, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Community Justice is no more. It has been reformed to Concordia. Membership has been transferred.

Concordia is an organization of editors on Wikipedia that strive to encourage civility and fair treatment among all editors in the Wikipedian community, from the Wikignome to the Wikiholic. The project was designed to have a friendly and helpful environment to support any unfortunate Wikipedians that have become victims of incivility, hostility, or continual disrespect.
