Trevor Crowe

Trevor Crowe (born November 17, 1983, in Portland, Oregon) is a baseball player who is currently a top prospect in the Cleveland Indians organization. He started the 2006 season as the Kinston Indians' starting center fielder, and was promoted on July 9 to the Double A Akron Aeros. On August 21, Trevor made his professional debut at second base, where Cleveland projects him to be one of the top middle infield prospects in baseball.

Trevor was drafted by Cleveland 14th overall in the 2005 Major League Baseball entry draft out of the University of Arizona. He was originally drafted but not signed by the Oakland Athletics in the 20th round of the 2002 entry draft.

Trevor was named to the 2006 Carolina League All-Star game but was unable to participate due to injury. Another Oregonian and Trevor's 2005 Pac-10 Co-Player of the Year, Jacoby Ellsbury was named his replacement.

An all-around athlete, Trevor was a competitive racquetball player in his teenage years and was one of the top players in the nation.
