Trespasser (computer game)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Trespasser is a computer game loosely based on the Jurrasic Park universe and featured a female protagonist (voiced by Minnie Driver), a first-person viewable player body, and is especially notable for being one of the first games to implement real-time physical simulation of 3d objects in a FPS.
Despite a number of technical innovations, the game was criticized both for not living up to excessive pre-release hype (notably not being able to deliver many of the promised features) as well as for being difficult and awkward to play. Many reviewers, despite praising it for trying something different, suggested that the over-realism of the game meant that the player spent far too much time struggling with the interface. One reviewer even dubbed it "Arm Simulator '98" [[1]]
