Treaty of Lübeck

The Treaty of Lübeck was signed on May 22, 1629 by Albrecht von Wallenstein, Duke of Friedland, and King Christian IV of Denmark and Norway. This agreement formally ended Denmark's participation in the Thirty Years' War. The terms of the treaty allowed King Christian to maintain Danish territories (i.e. Holstein) under the condition that the king no longer intervene further in German/Hapsburg affairs. This agreement was considered a victory for both Catholics and Hapsburgs.
