New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina:
Old homes in the Treme neighborhood. Brown flood line visible on stoops and the fence shows a flood level of about half a meter of water above the curb, not high enough to get inside of the old style raised houses, but making them islands in the shallow flood waters for weeks.
