[edit] My RfA thanks

Hi, TrackerTV! Thank you for supporting me in my RfA, which succeeded with a final tally of 75/0/1! I hope I can live up to the standards of adminship, and I will try my best to make Wikipedia a better place. Feel free to send me a message if you need any assistance. :)

[edit] Danny Phantom discussion

Hello. You recently participated in a discussion on the possible deletion or merger of some Danny Phantom characters. While all the articles were kept, I noted that many of those commenting on the debate suggested merging some characters into a main list. Seeing this, I've compiled a list of some of the minor characters who may not need their own article, and would like the opinions of those who weighed in originally. You can participate in the discussion here. Ral315 (talk) 18:25, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] November Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature: Admin Coaching (needs coaches!)
Admin Coaching needs coaches!!! If you are an administrator, or even a generally experienced user, do consider signing up to be a coach.

Admin Coaching, now being coordinated by HighwayCello, is a program for people who want help learning some of the more subtle aspects of Wikipedia policy and culture. People are matched with experienced users who are willing to offer coaching. The program is designed for people who have figured out the basics of editing articles; they're not newcomers any more, but they might want some help in learning new roles. In this way, Esperanza would help keep hope alive for Wikipedia because we would always be grooming the next generation of admins.

What's New?
The Tutorial Drive is a new Esperanza program! In an effort to make complicated processes on Wikipedia easier for everyone, Esperanza working to create and compile a list of tutorials about processes here on Wikipedia. Consider writing one!
A discussion on how Esperanza relates to the encyclopedia has been started; please add your thoughts.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
  • The list of proposed programs has been updated, with some proposals being archived.
  • There is now a new program: the Tutorial Drive! Consider writing a tutorial on something you are good at doing on Wikipedia.
  • The suggestion of adding a cohesive look to all the Esperanza pages is being considered; join the discussion if you are interested!
  • In order to make a useful interlanguage welcome template, those involved in translation projects will be asked what English Wikipedia policies are most important and confusing to editors coming from other language Wikipedias.
  • A discussion of Esperanza's role in Wikipedia is being held, with all thoughts of all Esperanzians wanted!
  • Shreshth91 informed everyone that he will be leaving the Esperanza council as life is rather busy; his spot will be filled by the runner up from the last election, HighwayCello.
Signed...

Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Newsletter/Opt Out List.

[edit] RE: Southern Greenlee County...again

The 5 CPs they have are all expired, and the "NEW", the application, is from 2000, when the 5 CPs were applied for, but was not granted at that time. I'd consider it dead. They list their channel line-up at www.dvec.org/sgctva/sgctvaprog.html, which is accurate, except for the last two stations. The last time I was out there, KGUN was on channel 67 and TNT was on channel 69. Not on the list are licensed channels 2, 7 and 11. In their license renewal, they state that channel 2 translates KGUN, that channel 7 translates KOAT in Albuquerque, and that channel 11 translates KVOA. Although I've never seen signals from channels 2 or 11, I linked them to the primary stations on the basis of their license renewals. I also linked all of the other stations that translate local affiliates. The only stations not linked are those that show cable networks.

If you're doing OTA cable, you might look at Fairbanks AK also. A company called Denali Television operates a wireless cable system there. dhett 03:14, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] King Mario

We don't delete users, and you seem perfectly able to edit. Was it an IP autoblock? --Golbez 03:45, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

The autoblock seems to have expired, let me know if it comes back; and I will archive my talk page when and how I please. --Golbez 03:49, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Sorry for being rude myself, you're right, and I've archived. --Golbez 03:54, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I appreciate your help but...

I've noticed that you archived the discussion at WT:PCP. While WP:ARCHIVE does say it may be a good idea to archive talk pages that become larger than 32k it also recommends "If possible it is better to archive talk pages during a lull in the discussion, as it is best to avoid archiving in the midst of an active discussion so that the full context of the discussion is together." thanks! -Zappernapper 15:16, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RE: Usage of Radio-Info Roundups

I have no problems with those being used here. Are you looking for me to post them here on WT:TVS? If so, I can, but I publish them on R-I per the Citing Oneself policy. dhett 22:12, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

No problem - I'll start publishing them here, too. dhett 22:18, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] PP and Power Points

It would seem that due to an AfD the information on power points at Pokémon game mechanics has been removed (making all that hard work at DABing kinda moot). I will be trying to reinsert some of the data, HighwayCello just rm all the info that was orginally moved from that Gaweful page instead of working to clean it up. I'm not thinking you'll read this as soon as I post it, so just giving you a heads up on it, and hoping you could give it a once over to see if i made it sound encyclopeadic enough. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 15:56, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
