First of all, I would like to point out that I am a guy, and thus can be referred to as "he" to save all the he/she him/her trouble.
Hello, this is my user page. I respect the mission of Wikipedia, especially NPOV and will attempt to ensure that it is respected wherever possible. My goal is only to improve the already high-quality nature of Wikipedia. My interests include:
American and British punk rock
All other types of popular music
Literature
Psychoactives
Other stuff I like to do on the project: 1. Patrol for new pages that are worthless and tag them so admins can do their thing. 2. Clean up vandalism. When I first started, I vandalized a ton. At first just adding nonsense for immature fun, but then once I saw how good the community was at thwarting my attempts at juvenile humor, it became a mind game of who could outsmart whom. I got blocked, of course, and came back with a different attitude. Why shit on other peoples' work? It's actually more fun to try to do something productive and challenge yourself in a socially beneficial way. 3. I try to be bold while at the same time learning policy. Sometimes my boldness results in ignorant moves that are seen by more seasoned vets as stupid. But in the process I learn about the project. If you have good intentions, you really only improve as a member of the community, despite your mistakes. I am committed to positivity and civility; i've followed a lot of controversies on this thing, and can't recall ever seeing a situation being helped by different people getting pissed at each other. I like what this project embodies and provides and will do what I can for it. If anyone has a problem with what I do, don't hesitate to speak to me directly and we will work it out. Bottom line, I think this whole thing is cool as shit, it's both a reflection of human society in the "real world" and, at its best, a vision of how that world could be better.
